How can I keep the computer from rebooting after installing Office 2007 in
order to install some add-ins? Does it require the use of the config.xml
file? I sure hope not cause my prgramming skills suck. I'd prefer to do the
entire install using the OCT GUI.

Hi Jetta,

It can depend on what you're installing and the steps you're following, but you haven't yet given us much to go on. :)

If files or apps are in use when you install then that can be a cause for an installation completion to be held in suspension until
a restart so that the files can be released and replaced.

The actual installation (setup run) occurs against the Local Installation Source, not from the CD/Network Installation point.

OK I've got the install so it will not reboot the machine, and successfully
installed an add-in after the Office 2007 install (save as PDF or XPS), but
is still asks me to accept the terms of the agreement for the install, and to
confirm the completion of the installation. Can I use the config.xml file to
automate these factors for this add-on as well?
