Offfice 2007 install on 400MHz system?

Does the Office 2007 Standard setup routine check processor speed and
prohibit an install on a 400Mhz system? If so, what is the switch setting to
over-ride this? The system requirements say 500Mhz but I don't do anything
super fancy and Office 2003 performs just fine for me on an old P2/400Mhz
system (XP SP2).

Office 2003 only required a 233Mhz Pentium processor. I don't know the
answer to your question, but you might try installing the free trial
version to find out for yourself.
