Can these two office products be run but be separate on
the same computer. Although 2003 is wonderful, it can save
an access databse in 2000 but the VBA library references
in the compiled state do not allow the saved database to
be opened on a windows 98 or 2000 machine running office
2000. Database can be writen with 2003 but requires office
2000 to save with refernce library of that edition. I have
managed to write an access database in office 2003, save
it as 2000 version, but open it on another machine and
save the compiled databse with the library refernces for
that edition, which allows use for 95% of the tin boxes in
the company.
So can I use both office editions on the same computer if
they are saved in separate folders or do I need a dual
boot system.
