Office 2000 SP3 with all critical updates
Windows XP Pro SP1 with all critical updates except SP2
Computer Lab, 10 PCs; all with same configuration
Some users report that on 3 of the PCs, there are various, undocumented [
they didn't keep track, they only report "there is a problem with PC # __
when I'm using Word", for example ]problems. I have not been able to
reproduce any problems.
I have tried to repair Office 2000 using the "repair" feature, through
add/remove programs.
I have tried to repair Word, for example, using winword.exe /a .
I realize this is like shooting into a haystack with a shotgun.
I would like to completely uninstall Office 2000 from the 3 problem
machines.
Is there a tool, similar to eraser
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q239938
that will work with Win XP?
If not, do you have instructions for a manual removal of the registry keys?
I have also read kb q219423, kb 252566 & kb 247684.
Thanks for your help.
