Office 2000 setup problem

I need some help. My problem started when Outlook was reporting an error and
needed a repair, my Laptop is an ex-works Dell running Win 2K and office
2000 professional. The setup programme keeps asking for the scource CD to be
put into drive "Q". I have a small home network and have mapped a drive as
"Q" but this gives me what appear as random error messages and cant find
***** messages. Any advice gratefully received.
