Office 2000 Upgrade

My last computer was an HP Pavillion with Works Suite
installed. I bought a Microsoft Office professional
Upgrade that installed fine and has been great.

I am buying a new computer now, I thik a Dell.

Will I need to buy new Office Software, or will I be able
to use that 2000 Pro Upgrade.

If you keep the qualifying product (Works) CD to use to verify your
eligibility, then it should be fine. Please note, when buying upgrade
editions, the QP becomes part of the license and must be kept as one
product. If you lose or give away the QP, you no longer have a valid
upgrade license.

Thanks Milly.

So, if the QP was pre-installed on the HP, and I don't
have the disk...I'm out of luck?
