Hi;

We are planning to rollout Office 2k3 to our user community which consists
of over 5K users.

Is there any benchmark template or test plan available to help us roll this
product out more effectively...

Thanks for any help.

I'm not clear on what you're looking for as
far as a template or benchmark in this case. You can
use the tools and information in the MS Office Resource
Kit (http://microsoft.com/office/ork )to plan
and test your deployment. There are 3rd party
packages with test templates and Office benchmarking
such as CSA Research but I've seen little feedback
on their effectiveness.

There are some 3rd party books that go into more
tips and you may find the deployment webcasts and
sessions available through the MS Office Deployment Center
to be helpful
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX011353441033.aspx
including some 'best practices' types:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834535
or the information from the MS Technet support area
http://microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/office/default.mspx
You'll find that each edition has different assets that
may be helpful. For example, under Office XP there is
a deployment blueprint that is still helpful for Office 2003.
