Office 2003 CD Has Read Errors

R

RandySavage

I have a licensed, store-bought copy of Office 2003. It has developed read
errors and won't properly install.

How can I address this issue? Presumably my license is a license to install
and use the software. Since I can't install the software, I am hoping there
is some amicable remedy.

Anybody, maybe somebody *really* close to Microsoft, have a suggestion on a
reasonable potential course of action to remedy this situation?

Keep in mind that there's a difference between a license and the media
on which the software exists. As long as you have the license key, you
can use any copy of the CD to install the application. I don't think
that any manufacturer has gotten to the point where license key's are
tied to a specific manufactured CD or other media.
