office 2003 picture manager issues

I have looked around these threads and done a number of searche
online...to no avail.

My issues are when I open a picture in OPM and then use the aut
correct (or any type of edit) then save as (to preserve the origina
file) the saved picture is small (around 38 kb) and plain white.

In another thread it was attributed to the brighness going to +10
automatically.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing.

I have tried it on an older computer and a Laptop (all OPM 2003), th
same thing is happening in each case.
