I'm trying to setup several servers to deploy Office from, and, am using the
compressed CD (copying the full CD to the server share), rather than an AIP
so that I can use the local cache feature (I have the newer setup.exe).
When trying to use the Wizard to create a Transform, I would like to point
it locally to the MSI and MST files (i.e., same folder, not a full path), so
I can simply copy the MST file to the different servers and they will all
work.
Even if I change the path that always seems to be created to just the
filename, it changes back into the full path, so, I assume this is what's
embedding into the MST file.
Do I need to just put the filename, without path, into the setup.ini file,
or, must I ALWAYS use a full path, and, have to redo the MST for each and
every server?
Thanks!
