How do I remove the puffy appearance of Office 2003 widgets??

What do you mean by "widgets" do you mean toolbars? A Mac has widgets, a PC
does not. If you meant the appearance of the toolbar - you can't; that's how
it is. If you don't like it, then reinstall a version of Office which you are
happy with. Otherwise, quit whining and get used to it!
