Office 2007 and product key problem

I brought a Windows XP laptop few months ago. Downloaded the offic
2007 Professional Trail version. Brought the product key from from th
same company, tried to covert the trail version to full version, and i
kept saying the product key is incorrect. I already returned the firs
product key I got and today I received a new one, but it still said th
same thing. I'm pretty sure I entered the product key correctly. Di
anyone happen to know why? The sales reps from the company said I hav
to wait until the trail version expired in order to convert, but I thin
there may be limited period where I could get a full refund back.

Please help!!

If you are able to get a refund do so
Purchasing Office direct from Amazon (eg) is generally cheaper & you get the
cd
