I just installed the trail, and when I went on to the "CD2" install file, I
got an error message when I clicked on the business contact manager. Message
indicates that I did not have Outlook 2007 Installed, and thusly could not
install the contact manager.
Thinking that I may have been hasty, I rebooted the computer and tried again.
~No Luck~
I re-ran the "CD1" installation file, and brought up the "Add/Remove
Components" Dialogue. I saw that Outlook was marked as "Not Available".
When I clicked on it, there were no other options. Am I missing something?
I would really like to test drive this new version, but it won't do all that
I had envisioned without outlook. That is at the core of desktop computing
in business.
The download page indicates that all of the trial versions are fully
functional until their expiration. When one looks on the trial page to
download a trial of outlook, one is directed to download the same version
that I installed and am having trouble with. Please advise as to the cause,
and possible resolution, of this problem.
