Office 2008 (Entourage)...

Can anyone say whether the new Office 2008 suite for Mac will include
any support for Public Folders in Entourage in the same way as PC
users with Outlook????

I think it's pretty disgusting that such a basic and useful function
has been totally overlooked in previous versions.

Anyone???

It hasn't been overlooked - they just haven't had time to get it fully
working yet.

Adding a little to JR's response.

Basic public folder support is present in Entourage but nothing more
than mail, contacts and events can be accessed.

Unfortunately, public folder support is being "de-emphasized" in
Exchange Server 2007, which means at some point in the future public
folders may not be present at all. Have a look at this blog post
<http://blog.entourage.mvps.org/2007...egacy_applications_software_for_function.html>,
particularly the final paragraph.

Hope this helps!
