Hi All,
We have found a rather fatal bug in the picture manager that comes bundled
with office 2003. If the domain username is the same as the workstations
name, picture manager will not allow *ANY* modifications to images.
For example, when a user attempts to change the contrast settings, they can
move the slider around but when the mouse button is released the changes
revert back to the original values.
I have searched (in vain) the ms knowledge base but was unable to locate any
documents that mention this bug.
Does anyone know of a workaround other than renaming our logon accounts or
workstation names ?
