office 97 & winXP

can i install just excell & word from the office97 disc in
add and remove programs on windows XP ? or do i have to
install the whole disc and all its components.

Hi Scott,

Choose a custom install in Office 97 and select
the components you want. There will not be a big
difference in the amount of space used by this method
vs. installing the complete product.
