Office Assistants I'd like to see.

P

Paul (ESI)

Okay, I am sure they probably wouldn't be able to do many (maybe any) of
these due to copyrights and such, but here are a list of Office Assistants I
think would be cool:

The Phantom of the Opera
Darth Vader
Yoda
Mickey Mouse
Batman
a Goth girl
a Goth guy
Spider-Man
The Ghostbusters symbol
Freddy Krueger
Jason Voorhees
Dr. Jekyll/Edward Hyde
a monkey
a ventriloquist and his dummy
a vampire
a zombie
Dilbert
Dogbert
Catbert

Anybody else have suggestions? That is all I can think of off the top of my
head.

I wonder if there is any way to make them yourself. Eh, I don't have any
artistic talent anyway, even if there is. I thought of a few more, though:

Cartman
Kyle
Stan
Kenny
Butters/Professor Chaos
The Noid (remember him?)
California Raisins (little singing claymation raisins)
the Energizer Bunny
the Trix rabbit
Captain Crunch

And all I can see are lots of ways to annoy me. Sorry, I'm NOT into Office
Assistants. I like my Help simple.

Now JoAnn don't take help so serious you need a little entertainment in the
Office ever now and then :)

However the Southpark characters would be inappropriate for the Office
Suite, especially foul mouth Cartman

As most of these are copyrighted/trademarked, you are unlikely to see legal
reproductions of the characters. However, if you are adventuresome, you can
design your own. Have a look at MS Agent and read up on how to create
moving and talking assistants.

So there, JoAnn - would they be annoying enough?

I see what you mean, JoAnn. I imagine a lot of people agree. I guess I'm
weird, though. The paper clip annoys me, but I don't mind any of the others.
LOL, I guess you are right, Paul. The South Park characters would probably be
a bit too adult for a general product like MS Office.

Good point, Milly. I knew a lot of them probably couldn't be used because of
trademarks and copyrights, but I was just saying it'd be cool to see them. If
I had any artistic talents, I would make them myself, but only for my own
personal use or as freeware. I wouldn't want to get into legal trouble.

I'm not a South Park fan at all. there used to be an assistant I used. It
was a cat named Scribbles. She doesn't work on newer versions of Office.
I've taken a plain vanilla attitude about Help.

(I take very few things seriously. Life's way to short.)

I found a company online that can make customized Office Assistants for
people. I wonder how much it costs. My guess, though, is it is really more so
for a company that wants its own mascot assistant. They probably still take
orders from people, but the price is probably more so not something you'd
want to spend unless you are spending a company's money.
