office constantly being configured

I recently installed Office 2000 SR-1 Premium onto Win 2000/SP4. Every time
I fire up Excel or Word I get the message

"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office SR-1 Premium"

When I initially installed Office I configured it, in fact I uninstalled it
and re-installed it, but this message remained.

SCOTT

This is due to not be logged in as Administrator. Office requires to be
configured as Administrator first, then you can log in as any user after it
is done doing it's thing within an Admin login.
