Office meeting request_ accept or decline not working

On occasions I have an office meeting request sent through our exchange
server and it will not allow me to accept or decline the meeting.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi Ed,

So far Jay is the only response to this issue. He confirms that it is a
problem within Entourage 2008. Do you know of any other reports in this
forum that touches on this problem?

Just a hunch.

When this happens, open Activity Monitor from /Applications/Utilities
and see if the Microsoft Database Daemon is still running.

Also, is the rest of Entourage responsive? Are you able to open a
message and its status changed to "read"? If its status remains "unread"
then your Microsoft Database Daemon has probably quit while Entourage is
open.

Everything else on Entourage is responsive. The status changes to read after
opening an unread email. Next time this happens I will check the activity
monitor to see if the Microsoft Database Daemon is still running. I'll keep
you informed.
