Office Notifications keep coming back

I recently upgrade Entourage 2004 with the latest SP. Ever since, I am
prompted about every 5 minutes with Office Notifications for recurring
appts. I try to dismiss them, but they keep coming back. Notifications
for newer appts show up and dismiss properly. Does anyone have any
suggestions?
