Office notifications - timing way off

I have three users who have confirmed that their recurring meeting
requests continually and predictably remind them way earlier than
originally specified. For instance, they might setup a recurring
meeting to remind them 15 minutes before the meeting time. What
happens is they will get the reminder sometimes days before the
meeting. They are using Entourage 11.1.1 in an Exchange 2003
environment.

Is this something that could be resolved by upgrading to SP2?

I suspect they need to check the time zone settings for those meetings.

I've checked and the time zone is set properly. They said this has
only started happening since upgrading to Tiger last June. I'm running
all the same specs as they are and I have never seen this on my machine.
