Office Professional 2007 shows "for non-commercial use"

AutoBarn

Hi there,

I recently upgraded from the trial edition of Office Professional 2007 to
the full version. On installing the full version, my copies of Word, Excel
and Powerpoint show the message "for non-commercial" use at the top of the
screen. All the other programmes within the suite do not - any idea why this
may be, and any way to remedy it?

I have already completely removed Office 2007 from my system and
re-installed, and the problem persists.

Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

Because it's still reading your trial version of the Home and Student
Edition. I know I read something recently about this but now I can't find
it.

Uninstall both versions (professional and trial) and reinstall. All of your data will remain.

Milly -

Didn't Sloan just post something about this within the last couple of weeks?
Something about a registry fix? Or am I imagining things?

Thanks guys... I actually did that already, uninstalled everything office
related on my computer (even uninstalled my free copy of Works for good
measure) and still the non-commercial message. Any other ideas?

Thank you. I guess I got something short-circuited in my noodle. :-(

No, Milly's reply, to uninstall the trial version even if it's never been
activated, has always been the standard fix.
