Office should allow loading and saving in OpenDocument format

R

Richard

I have files sent from others that I'd like to open, and I'd like to be able
to send docs to others in a format that they can open easily.

That's nice. In a little more than a year's time, neither RTF nor DOC
(nor .XLS, etc) format files will be accepted by the government of the

Also, OpenDocument also supports spreadsheet and other nonwordprocessor
file formats. When did RTF begin to do so?

It's useful to know what you're talking about before replying in
newsgroups.
