I'm anticipating moving to Office 2004 in the coming weeks but wanted
to confirm one issue. I know that there is a well-regarded procedure
for importing all data on upgrade. However, every quarter I archive
my database files by duplicating them, putting the used one away, then
deleting all the email off of the second one so that the size remains
manageable but I still have access to all contacts, calendar items and
to-dos.
My question is, will I still be able to "switch identities" and
smoothly open up archived databases (e.g.: Q4 2003) to access old
email once I am operating in Office 2004.
Thanks!
