office xp and office 97 installed

I have Office XP and notice tha Office 97 is still installed in my programs
list also, can I delete office 97 without causing any problems to XP

Sal,
Uninstall from add/remove programs.
If you have programs from your 97 version that were not included in Office
XP you may want to leave them, if you use it/them. This may be what is
showing if you performed an upgrade.
