Office XP EULA

I am a very trusting user who has just updated Office XP as prompted.
Now, however, I am getting a message to sign a EULA - something I have
never had to do before. I am reluctant to agree to this as I suspect
it is committing me to something I might regret later. This is
happening on a Dell computer I bought almost one year ago; it came
with the Home Edition of Office XP. Am I right to be suspicious, or am
I being paranoid? I'm at the point where I'm ready to give up on MS if
they are leading me down the garden path and opt for a free or
lower-cost alternative. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions/explanations.

I suggest you seek professional help for your extreme paranoia. You agreed
to the EULA when you installed the software - if you didn't you shouldn't
have installed it and returned it to Dell.

Start your system in Safe Mode as the main admin and accept the EULA.
