Office XP for students and teachers

My son bought Office xp Stnandard for students and
teachers in January 2003 to load onto his laptop for
college and to load on his desktop computer. After
loading on the laptop it could not be loaded to any other
computer. A call to Microsoft confirmed this. I was in a
store today and saw the same program now can be loaded to
three computers. Does anyone know if there is a patch or
some method that will allow older versions to be loaded to
three computers?

Office 2003 can be loaded on 3 computers. There is no patch that will change
the install, it is part of Office XP's Academic Licensing Restrictions.
