Office XP Lost Product Key

Robert

I have a client that had Office XP installed a while back.
The IT person that installed it is no longer with the
company and they are not able to locate the original
Product Key. Is there a way of having a new product key
issued or finding what the key is? I know that the key is
probably encrypted in the registry so that won't work. Any
ideas? -thanks

if the product was registered, you usually can call microsoft
and just give them the registration info.

Hey that worked. I am going to have them call Microsoft on
two of the workstations. They reformatted those systems so
running this app won't work on them.

thanks again
