Offline Folder in Entourage

We use the recently released Entourge X for Mac (WITH EXCHANGE
SUPPORT) with our companies exchange email server.

Previously, we used Outlook 2001. It featured "offline" folders that
we could copy messages into (removing them from the company exchange
server but keeping them in our Outlook application). This was a great
feature for personal emails that we wanted to keep, but didn't want
shared with anyone else via the exchange server.

Since upgrading to Entourage X, we can't find a similar feature. Is
there such a thing in Entourage?

Until someone more knowledgeable about exchange comes along.............

Yes, there is a similar function in Entourage. Select the message(s) you
want to copy locally, click the arrow directly to the right of the "Move"
button on the toolbar, select "Move to Folder" (or go to Message -> Move To
-> Move to Folder), and select one of the subfolders of "On My Computer".
You can create one called "Exchange Archive" or something like that. That
will create a local copy of the selected message(s) while deleting
that/those message(s) from the Exchange Server.

In the future, you can just select the message(s) you want to copy locally,
click the arrow directly to the right of the "Move" button on the toolbar,
and select the folder name (Exchange Archive). Or, you could select the
message(s) and go to Message -> Move To -> Exchange Archive.
