Major Issues
OK, after struggling with this for more than an hour, I find with a
quick google search;
"*** Outlook 2003 NOTE: Outlook 2003 does not correctly use secure
connections on port 587. In order to use authentication, you must not
have "This server requires secure connection (SSL)" checked, but you
still need to use port 587.
Microsoft has been contacted about this problem. "
I would really like to get Outlook(any version) to use SSL on Port
587.
Has anyone had any success with this?
Is there a reghack, patch, band-aid, script or anything that will make
this work?
Is there something I can do on the server side?
Does MS plan on making this work anytime soon?
Any comments would be welcome. Thanks.
