I get the following error when I either switch to "Contacts" or try to
open a Contact.:
"The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form
instead. The form required to view this message cannot be displayed.
Contact your administrator."
There are several strange things about this error.
1.) It is not a message I am trying to view.
2.) When I click [OK] the contact form opens.
3.) I am not using custom forms.
I looked on the MS Knowledge Base. None of these 'Q' articles had
anything to do with my problem:
1.) 223481
- attempt to print a meeting request message
- attempt to open an encrypted message
- attempt to synchronize a PalmPilot
2.) 251415
- attempt to use the Outlook object model to reference an item that
requires a custom form
A Google search did not uncover anything that seemed to refer to the
problem.
I downloaded Microsoft's "Customizable Alerts Info Button" that adds
additional informatin to some error messages. It didn't tell me
anything.
Can anyone advise me?
