A really weird problem here, our CEO uses 2 PC,s one in the office and one
at home. Office system connects to SBS2003 server over LAN, home PC connects
via VPN over ADSL, both systems use OL2003 in cached exchange mode.
The problem seems to be that when working from home the connction to the
server may drop briefly and the re-establis, (this has no bad effect on the
system) the message under construction is completed and sent as normal and
appears in sent items in the mailbox. He then comes into the office on
Monday and even after synchronising folders Outlook displays a partial copy
of the message in the drafts folder. At some time (I do not know how long
but hours rather than minutes it is claimed) the view is updated to display
the correct situation.
I an mystified as to how this happens and why, does anyone have any ideas
please?
Thanks
