old .ost file Start Outlook 2003 Exchange 2

I have to change the domain model on remote workstations which are
connected via RPC over http with cached ost files. (Outlook 2003)

Whe i try to start Outlook with the new user profile i get an error
message indicating outlook is using an old .pst file please delete the
file and reload outlook again.

Regarding that are remote workstation i don't want to resync, is there a
way to prevent this situation.

No, you can't prevent the need for a resync of the .ost file in this case.
