OLE Server not Registered win2k -> winxp

i have an application that stores word documents and tif images, that works fine using acc2k, on win98 and win2k platforms, but on winxp, the word documents open fine, unfortunatly the tif images give an error "OLE server is not registered". when looking at the table, the old tif images are stored as (Image.Document), while the new tif's that the winxp users stored are called (Packages).

How can i get the win xp users to view the old tif images
Note(all users are using Acc2k)
