Perhaps Microsoft could consider having just one English language dictionary
that could include the variety of spellings for words from around the globe.
No matter what I do, I always seem to end up with my documents defaulted to
U.S. spelling (I'm Canadian) and thus it tells me I'm mispelled colour,
benefitted, maneuvre, cheque and dozens of other words.
This must be a universal problem for people outside America. So, why not
have just one dictionary that could include the various spellings of these
words, so that no matter where an English-speaking user is located, they can
spell the word as they see fit. Because in the end, "color" or "programme"
are not incorrect spellings... they're just ones that aren't used in all
countries.
