one message crashes Entourage

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

There is one received junk message that, even if simply selected, crashes Entourage. Happens every time, immediately upon selecting.

How can I delete the message without selecting it?

Try turning off preview (View > Preview Pane > None) before you select it,
then deleting it. You can then reset the Preview Pane.

If that doesn't work, do you have web access to your email? (Many email
systems offer it.) If so, try deleting it via the web.
