one-to-many export..

I'm looking to create a compact listing, using one-to-many tables set up..

Master table
MasterID NAme
1 Joe
2 LuLu

States table
MasterID State
1 NJ
1 TX
1 PA
2 LA

...with about 8 other tables linked to Master table. Any ideas as to get out
to Excel, and/or list all related data for MasterID 1 in somewhat compact
format?

Currently there is report that does, but it's spacious..suppose I could
tighten up the subforms to compact it more.
