OneNote should support hyperlinks to bookmarks in word files

In my research, I sometimes find a long block of material that I'll need
later. It would clutter my OneNote file to dump all the text into it. I'd
really like to put a short abstract in OneNote and have a hyperlink to the
source for later use in composing finished text.

Ken,

From Windows Explorer you can drag the Word file into the desired
place in a OneNote page and a link should be created automatically
back to the Word file.

That is not to bookmark level, rather it is to document level.

That may help a little in your use case.

I tried to do this but OneNote created a whole new copy of the file which it
stored in the 'My Notebook' folder, so I ended up with a second copy of the
file. I've seen comments elsewhere that indicate that I should get a set of
options when dragging from Windows Explorer, but I didn't get anything like
this.
