I have a friend who is very frustrated that when she sends
an email out, and uses a group to send to, only the first
name in the group ever receives the email. She has trahsed
and recreated the group but always the same result. Any
ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Also, does
anyone know why some addresses have the little man icon and
some only have the @ sign in front. How does an address
obtain the little man icon?

That's really strange. Do messages that she sends out to multiple
recipients, rather than a group, send to everyone?

I do. If it has the "little man" icon, that means that it is linked to a
contact record in the Address Book, meaning it was inserted by either
dragging the contact from the Address Book into the group, or by typing in
the name and selecting the contact from the AutoComplete list.

The addresses with the @ sign are addresses that are not linked to contacts
in the address book. Such contacts were added to the group by just typing
in the e-mail address, or selecting it from the Most Recently Used list in
the AutoComplete list.

It's probably best that addresses be linked to the appropriate contacts, so
if some of your contacts have @ signs, remove them from the group, and then
drag them into the group window from the Address Book.
How does an address
obtain the little man icon?

By either:
(a) dragging the contact from the Address Book into the group
(b) typing in the name and selecting the contact from the AutoComplete list.
