Within Excel 2002 when I click the "Open file" icon and
it gives me a list of files with a drop-down menu such
as the windows explorer...
When I click this drop-down menu it locks my program for
a good 30-45 seconds. After this initial 45 secong lock
the program works fine.
I have run all Product updates and have run a repair of
office from the CD. This solved the problem until I
rebooted the machine.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? thanks
