Opened attachments going into "Caches" folder instead of "SavedAttachments"

Obviously, this is not what I want. Does anyone have some simple steps on
how to change the destination folder for opened attachments?

These folders serve different purposes.

Caches would be used for Spotlight searching and "Saved Attachments"
would be used for attachments you open through Entourage. I can't recall
if all attachments are saved there or only those you modify. Otherwise,
the original attachment is still in the mail message itself and that's
all in the Database file.
