Opening attachments with Adobe reader

Using Entourage 11.3.6 (and Mac OS 10.5) I find that I cannot open PDF files
within Entourage. I am presented with an error message that claims ŒThe
file is damaged and could not be repaired.¹ The same thing sometimes
happens with Word documents as well.

I deleted the Entourage Temp folder and restarted, but that didn¹t help.

Yet, when I access my .Mac account through my browser or through Apple¹s
Mail software, I can easily open any attachment.

Why can¹t I simply double-click on an attachment and have it open?
Especially when the attachment is almost always created in another Microsoft
application?

Hey Guys, I was having the same problem. Then my wife clicked the link
to download the entire attachment, then clicked open and bingo. Works
like a champ. Hope that helps.
