I am having problems opening my browser in entourage. Is there a way to set
it up to open a specific browser. I am running Mac OS x 10.3.2. Also when I
click on the OS x software in the Apple Menu, my Safari doesn't; open and
defaults entourage.
Do you mean when you come upon a hyperlink such as
<
http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/> in Entourage clicking doesn't open
to that web page in Safari? That's an OS setting, which in Panther is done
in Safari itself. Open Safari/Preferences, and make sure that Default
Browser is set to your current version of Safari there, or flip the popup to
set it to a different browser.
From what you say about Apple Menu/Mac OS X Software, it sounds as if that
default has been incorrectly set to Entourage. (You probably want Entourage
to be your default Email client - you probably chose that when you installed
it, but if not you can make that choice within Mail.app Preferences.)
