Opening .pps Attachments with Outlook Express

Since "upgrading" the powerpoint viewer from 97 to 2003, I can no longer open
e-mail attachments with the .pps. I get an error saying no program is
associated with the file type. I have Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer 2003
checked in the Folder options. I have to save the attachment then go back and
click on it where I saved it. This opens it normally. How can I force it to
just open the file within Outlook Express like it did before?
