Opening Project 2007 docs with Project 2000

Hi,

Installed on pc Project 2000 and Office 2003

Trying to open Project 2007 doc with Project 2000 and it is asking me to
download the convertor and sp3 for Office 2003. I have downloaded and install
the sp3 but I am still being asked to download and install sp3 for Office
2003.

Any ideas? Going round in circles...

Office SP3 would apply to MS Project 2003. I do not know if there is a
2007<->2000 conversion available for Project2000. You may need to have the
originator down convert the file for you on a Project 2007 machine.

The format for Project files was constant for 2000 through 2003 versions. I
think your issue is that Office 2003 SP3 does not modify a Project 2000
install, only Project 2003.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, please.

Yep, find someone with MS Project 2003 and open/save via that
version. Problem is you are 2 steps removed from MS Project 2000.
