Where is the option to turn on pictures in mail messages in Entourage
2004? I recall getting html messages with .jpg pictures in Ent-X but
for some reason the show up in Ent-2004 with red-X's. How can I ditch
the red-X's?

There should be a "Download Pictures" button that appears in a light-yellow
colored info bar with an international no sign. If you click it, are
connected to the internet, and not working offline (select Entourage > Work
Online), the images should appear. I have seen some instances in which the
option doesn't appear, but I cannot reproduce it consistently.

Here's an image of the button that I'm referring to. It's in the lower
right-hand corner.

You can add the domains (after the @ sign) of your newsletters to the Safe
Domains list in the Junk E-mail Protection dialog (Tools > Junk E-mail
Protection) to make sure that the images display automatically.

Also, make sure these preferences (Entourage > Preferences) are checked:
General Preferences > Security > Display complex HTML in messages
Mail & News Preferences > View > Show attached pictures & movies

Mickey Stevens,

Thank you very much. The problem was fixed based on your tip
General Preferences > Security > Display complex HTML in messages

I had that option unchecked. Going to try it for a few days to see which
option I prefer. It is working great now.

Thank you again.
