Option groups act strangely

I have an unbound option group in a form. Attaching
macros to each toggle ON MOUSE DOWN, I apply a filter to
the records. For some reason, once the macros are
attached, the toggle buttons do not press and de-press as
conveniently as they did before but just stay unpressed.
The macros still run but the visual aid would be
preferred.

As well, is it possible, using these option group
filters, to filter multiple conditions but still have the
ability to filter single conditions.

ie.

Option group 1. [Sex]
( )Male
(x)Female

Option group 2. [Job]
( )Dentist
(x)Lawyer
( )Doctor

= All records for Female Lawyers
