Organizing the Navigation Pane in Office 2007 OPEN Dialogs

Is there a way to manage the order of shortcut/links in the Organization pane
in Office 2007 OPEN dialog? There are certain shortcut/links I use
frequently that I want to appear on the top of the list, but as the day goes
by other shortcuts/links move to the top of hte stack and the links I really
want to use most often get pushed down. I've tried changing the order of
links in my LINKS folder within my user directory (in VISTA Ultimate) but
that seems to have no effect on the order in which they appear in in the Open
dialog in Office apps. Any thoughts?

TIA,

Mark

I'm sorry: my question was probably unclear. I'm trying to organize the
"Favorite Links" section of Navigation Pane (not the "organization" pane) on
the left hand side of the OPEN dialog box. There are lots of links there (the
Music, Links, Search folders and so on), and I've added several links of my
own through the LINKS folder -- but I can't seem to keep that list organized
with my REAL favorites on the top. After a few days of use, Office has pushed
the "Documents" or "Templates" or "Recently changed" folders to the top of
this list, and I rarely use those. The ones I routinely use have been pushed
deeper in the list, and that's not where I want them. Any clues?

Thanks!
