Ok, So here's the deal. I have

OS X (10.4 = Tiger)
Entourage 10.1.6
A Motorola Razr V3.

I want to sync a specific group from Entourage with my phone. Is anybody
doing this? Does anyone have any advise?

Please respond via email as well as the group.

Thanks

Hi - Check out e2Sync. I use to sync between Entourage/iCal and then
..Mac and my family.
e2Sync allows certain categories.
However, Entourage/Palm conduit can choose categories??
good luck

I'm doing the same thing--one caution. For whatever reason,
downloading entourage contacts to the Razr will create a record for
every contact and address. So, if you have one name with two phone
numbers and four email addresses--that will produce six independent
records in the RAZR. YUK!

I've had so many difficulties syncing using e2Sync as well as being the
worst customer service I've ever experienced from a company!

I just wish there was something else out there to enable us to sync
Entourage with the V3. Is there nothing else?

I'm having to start to use iCal because I need the ability to sync to my
Mac.

You can also try PocketMac GoBetween. Works perhaps better with the Razr,
but you¹ll be in for a surprise when it comes to
customerservice....*S*...things can always get worse !

Yep already had my troubles with GoBetween where the Customer Service was so
bad I had to ask for my money back!

On rather workable app is On-Sync (download at www.VersionTracker.com). The
demo-mode allows manual synchronization, which helps if most other apps just
create mega confusion while synching. But note: it only supports contacts
and not the V3 calendar. A tedious but at least working solution to keep the
V3 and Entourage in snych.

Since no one else has said so, I guess I'll have to plug myself. You can use
my scripts "Sync Entourage-Address Book" and "Sync Entourage-iCal" to sync
Entourage with Apple's apps, then use iSync to sync to your phone. It adds a
step. of course, but doesn't have the problems you've encountered with those
other utilities you've tried. The First Run is very slow, but then regular
sync are fast. You can try them both out for free for 14 days. You can find
them here:

MacScripter.net <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

Do a search on each name to find the right version. The TIGER version of the
iCal script does not (yet) appear in the little list of 5 scripts at the top
of the page - you have to do a search.
