Out of Office & Read Receipt

Is the Out of Office Assistant not an option in Entourage? And how can
I turn the Read Receipt on? Or has that option disappeared too?

That's correct. You can set up the Out of Office Assistant via OWA if
you're on an Exchange Server. Otherwise, you can investigate to see if your
mail provider offers an auto-response feature.

If not, you can set up a rule in Entourage to reply to all messages.

Go to Tools > Accounts, and open your mail account. Click the "Options" tab
(unless you have an Exchange account set up, in which case you must select
the "Mail" tab). Under "Header", enter in Disposition-Notification-To
Under "Value", enter your e-mail address.

Auto-response doesn't sound a good idea if it includes spam, surely this
would verify your address was live?

Only reply to people in the Address Book?
You might need to create a group of "out of office notified", then not
include them next time.
